From center to periphery, Cleveland, Ohio, has much to offer. The city is a dynamic mix of cultures, which is located on Lake Erie. Having grown up here, these are some of my favorite places are worth visiting if you can be in the city. The best time to visit if you want to avoid very cold weather, late spring or early autumn. You will not be disappointed.
Public Square and Tower City
In the heart of Cleveland is a beautiful old skyscraper called the Terminal Tower. Built inLate 1920, its interior was reconstructed in the lower 80s, a large shopping center called closed city tower. And 'impressive to say the least, with its fountains, marble floors and elegant level, multi-structure. And 'to go where you can meet to buy and eat Cleveland ball games. Nearby are the stadiums in baseball, basketball and football. This is a city that loves its sports. In the basement of the tower of the city, you can take the subway, called the Rapid Transit or RTA, east orwest side. The Rapid is fast and convenient. many business people use it to work every day to come. goes also to the airport. Tower City is the center of most activities for Cleveland.
The apartment
If you go for a good meal, as the apartment is a picturesque place to go. Many restaurants are on both the east and west banks of the Cuyahoga River that runs next to Terminal Tower. This river is where the ore barges and other ships coming and going huge. TheWaterway is heavily used in summer for both business and private use by anyone. On the scenic west bank is Shooters, a popular restaurant that I must go, the view is spectacular from the water used there. There are concerts in the summer of many famous bands of the genre. The historic Power House nearby is another popular place. This is a completely renovated old building with electricity TGIFridays, Howl at the Moon Saloon, the Improv Comedy Club and more. My friends and I used toClick here often meet after work.
Cleveland Metro Parks System
Cleveland is surrounded by a ring of large public parks which are well maintained and offers spectacular natural beauty. There are places for cooking, shelter and picnic tables, jogging trails, horseback riding and much more. This ring extends for many miles around the outskirts of Cleveland. My favorite is the sorrow of reservation in the autumn when the trees are all changing their color. LiscioFuck if you like nature, the bright colors of the trees' eyes. There are events like horse shows, exhibitions and other year-round. The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is a popular place on the west side nearby.
University Circle
This is a highly cultural area on the east side of Cleveland, full of students, like many universities in this field for Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Institute of Art, to name a few. The Cleveland Museum of Art is an impressiveBuilding with many different objects from the armory of Egyptian mummies and tombs. The Cleveland Museum of Natural History is one of my favorites to show detailed dinosaur skeletons, the region's history, the beauty of nature and how the world works through exhibits, lectures and a planetarium. The Cleveland Botanical Garden is located right next door, and a must for lovers of plants, which also has a rainforest. The Crawford Auto Museum is elegant, and the place where many weddings and parties. UsYou can see cars of all ages in perfect condition. Perfect for lovers of old cars.
Little Italy
This ethnic part of University Circle is a wonderful place to go to a cafe, or festival. They have yearly traditional festivals like the Feast of the Assumption, where the streets are closed off and people jam in there like sardines. Little Italy is full of tunnels. An old school was converted into a building full of shops and galleries, and shopsare artistic. It 'a haven for artists. There are art walks and shows frequently. Stop at Presti Bakery for pastries more surprising, ever. If you're, at dawn, Presti has a small donut shop a few doors down from their oven, but it closes early. If you are lucky enough to catch him, while it is open, the donuts are hot and fresh. It 'been a tradition for many residents, many years.
Chagrin Falls
A suburb outside of Cleveland, this ismy hometown. With seven waterfalls throughout their territory, this charming, New England-town flavor, the family atmosphere that occaisionally attracts movie producers, and the place of the past a couple of moving images. Go to Chagrin Falls on Memorial Day, when parking a parade and festival (Blossom Time) in the city center. This is Americana at its best. Stop the Show of popcorn, the park across the street, where you can eat ice cream, popcorn and other snacks. This is a very oldHistoric buildings full of history built right on top of a waterfall. It 'going public stairs below him and see the waterfalls from below. If you go to Chagrin in summer, this is a must. In the heart of the city, there is also an old gazebo to be where bands would play music from ancient times. This is a picturesque old town do not want to miss.
The West Side Market
If you want to buy fruit, meat and other foods directly from the producer, the West SideMarket is the place to go and often with them. There are vendors of long family tradition of selling fresh chickens, old world bakery products, meat, chocolate and fruit and vegetables every imaginable. There are Poles, Italians, Irish, Slavic, Mexican, German and other foods are. It is a melting pot full of fresh food a loyal following of people from all over the shop.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Science Center next door
If you love rock and roll, check thisMuseum or be square! It is a living, modern building, built on Lake Erie, with exhibits, performances, and plenty of souvenirs. Next door is the science center, with its IMAX theater. These places are wonderful family, so be sure to take your kids and walk around the two sites. Often, when I was there, outside of fairs can start viewing, simply click on the water when you are there. The lake is a center of activity all in itself.
If you have the chance to visit Cleveland, remember to bringThe camera. It 'a different city with much to discover. Go to art shows, performances, visit museums and numerous restaurants. This city is growing, and every day. Go see a game or two, ride the train. The St. Patrick's Day, there is a big parade is worth a visit if you're Irish. If you're really adventurous, go to Cedar Point or Amish country (about an hour from downtown Cleveland). If the cards, while connecting it to the Chamber of Commerce or localSubsidiary of the Auto Club. Whatever you do, go to Tower City, downtown Cleveland is worth a visit. If you go, you'll see that all the excitement this great city has it all. Cleveland truly rocks.
